The time came to say goodbye to BVW Jewelers in January, 2026. Ownership changes hands and a natural conclusion to two years curating the gallery in that beautiful space. Onward…
The beginning of African Dream, commission completed in May 2026.
Painting with wool is my newest favorite thing to do. I could spend hours and hours, and do in the wee hours, working on these pieces. It is meditative, therapeutic, and just satisfying. Working with wet felting and finishing with needle felted details is special. How this medium isn’t more celebrated in galleries is a true question. There are some incredible wool painting artists around the world.
Nolan Preece, the incredible American Chemigramist, curated an intriguing group show of chemigramists. Four of my pieces are included. This has become a traveling exhibition that began at St. Mary’s Art Center, is currently at Truckee Meadows Community College, and moving to Sierra Arts Foundation and other locations in the near future.
One of my chemigrams in the show, circa 2017
I recently met Linda, the owner of LCDmodern, as a customer and fellow modernist, though I have visited her space several times before. Her personal energy, eye for design, and vision for a makers space are simply fantastic. She invited me to exhibit my artwork in her space and I am thrilled to be a part of her vision and offerings.

What a pleasure and honor to be included in Core Contemporary’s “Open The Other Door” exhibition in Las Vegas. Sometimes I hold pieces back for the right time and place…Core Contemporary is exactly that right time and place.

INSIDE STORIES is a very cerebral and time intensive body of work…and arguably the most fun to create. It takes hours to accumulate the proper wording, properly tear and size, and then glue them onto the canvases. Each piece of paper is touched and manipulated/placed no less than five times each. Once they are secure and the glue is dry, the layers and layers of color and glazing begin. Below is a peek into the making of WISE WOMAN.
